The Diabetes and Genetic Epidemiology Unit (DIGY), which forms part of the Department of Epidemiology and Health Promotion (ETEO) at the National Public Health Institute (KTL) acts as the Action LADA co-ordination centre for Finland. The National Public Health Institute (KTL) is a scientific research institute and expert body that falls within the authority of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. The institute’s main aims are to study, observe and improve the health of the Finns. |
